The Ogun State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, OGUNCCIMA, in collaboration with the Ogun State Government, has formally announced the commencement of activities for the 15th Gateway International Trade Fair 2026.
The announcement was made by the President of OGUNCCIMA, Lion Niyi Oshiyemi, during a press conference held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at the OGUNCCIMA Conference Room, M.K.O. Abiola Trade Fair Complex, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta.
Addressing journalists and stakeholders, Oshiyemi described the trade fair as a strategic platform aimed at strengthening business growth, fostering partnerships, and expanding market opportunities for enterprises across different sectors.
The 2026 edition of the Gateway International Trade Fair, scheduled to hold from February 6 to 16, 2026, at the M.K.O. Abiola Trade Fair Complex, will be organised under the theme, “Promoting Businesses through Partnership.”
According to the OGUNCCIMA President, the annual trade fair brings together small, medium, and large-scale enterprises, alongside relevant government institutions, to showcase products and services, promote new businesses, and encourage technological innovation. He noted that the event also serves as a forum for business awareness and discussions around emerging global market trends.
Oshiyemi explained that the 15th edition is designed to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas among trade and industry practitioners, business innovators, and economic policy makers, with the aim of strengthening collaboration and sustainable economic development.
He further disclosed that since its inception, the Gateway International Trade Fair has grown into a reliable international trade platform, providing access to a guaranteed market of over one million consumers.
The OGUNCCIMA President expressed appreciation to the Ogun State Government, under the leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun, for its consistent support, which he said has contributed significantly to the success of previous editions of the trade fair.
Assuring participants of a more robust and expanded event this year, Oshiyemi called on corporate organisations, government agencies, exhibitors, prospective customers, and the general public to support and actively participate in the 2026 trade fair.
He expressed confidence that the 15th Gateway International Trade Fair would deliver lasting value to exhibitors and visitors, while further positioning Ogun State as a hub for commerce, industry, and investment.
