OGUNCCIMA is a voluntary non-profit making organization. The Council was officially launched in 1980 as an organization, Limited by Guarantee under the Companies Act of 1948. The Identification Number (TIN) of OGUNCCIMA is 21155559-0001.

Ogun State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (OGUNCCIMAS) is the head of Chamber of Commerce in Ogun State and comprises the following city chambers which have been registered by NACCIMA:

  • Abeokuta Chamber of Commerce and Industry
  • Yewa Chamber of Commerce and Industry
  • Remo Chamber of Commerce and Industry
  • Ijebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry
  • Ota-Agbara Chamber of Commerce and Industry

OGUNCCIMA is one the foremost private sector group in Nigeria with over 3, 000 corporate members. The primary objective of the Chamber is to promote, support or oppose legislative or other measures affecting trade, industry, commerce and agriculture. The Chamber represents the opinion of the business community on the above matters in particular and economy as a whole.

Over the past decades, OGUNCCIMA has remained one of the leading voice of the private sector through its sustained public policy advocacy, stakeholders’ engagement and trade promotion activities.

OUR MISSION

To promote and protect Trade, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture in Ogun State through Education, Mobilization, Sensitization and Evaluation of performance of stake holders.

OUR VISION

To make Ogun State through the five city chambers of Commerce, Business and Industrial friendly for sustainable growth and development.

OUR OBJECTIVES

  • The primary objective of the chamber is to promote, support or oppose legislative or other measures affecting trade, industry, commerce and agriculture.

  • The chamber represents the opinion of the business community on the above matter in particular and economy as a whole.

  • Ogun state chambers of commerce is the leading voice of Chambers in Ogun State through its sustained public policy advocacy, Stake holder’s engagements and trade promotional activities.
  • To promote, protect and develop matters affecting Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture in Ogun State.

  • To collate and circulate commercial statistics and information of all kinds.

  • To promote cooperation between members chambers in Ogun state and coordinate, express and give effect to the views of such chambers of commerce and industry matters of all kind.

  • To subscribe to and promote the aims and objective of any society, association having objectives similar to all or any of the objectives of the council and to encourage and support commercial law.

  • To fill other gaps identified and to create conducive business environment in the state.
